The (Almost) Forgotten Woman of the Evening

Amongst the glitz and polish of the Inuagural evening balls, all eyes were glued to Michelle Obama (including my own) to see what gown she would wear for the first dance as First Lady. While the Jason Wu gown has already recieved much attention (Wu and Isabel Toledo were on NBC's Today Show this morning) it fell flat in my eyes when compared to the stunning Jill Biden. Bam! That woman can wear red! And in a city where fashion certainly takes a backseat, I am absolutely loving Jill's bold wardrobe choices. The gown is by Lebanese designer, Reem Acra. Together, Jill Biden and Michelle Obama seem to be shaking up the often tired wardrobes of influential Washington women, and I say bravo!
