Matchbox owners experiment coming soon

Capitol Hill is soon to receive another brain child from the owners behind Matchbox.
"American comfort food and Art Deco accents are coming to Capitol Hill, courtesy of the owners of the two popular Matchbox eateries in Washington... the restaurant to start serving lasagna and meatloaf by early next year." (WaPo)
The new restaurant will channel a 1920s Lower East Side storefront, at 505 8th St. SE. The place also seeks to be more personal than the often loud (quite an understatement) Matchbox, seating no more than 80 people. American eats & classic cocktails are soon to come as another urban rustic dining experience hits the District.
