Christmas really is coming in July this year...well at least in my opinion, with the grand opening of Washington DC's very own W Hotel. I am sure many of you out there have been aware of the news for some time.
I have officially begun my W Hotel opening countdown: 34 days aka July 8th, 2009.
My personal rule of thumb; you know a city is officially getting recognized for style when a W Hotel comes to town.
The W Hotel takes over a very historic and coveted site, only steps away from the White House. Formerly the Washington Hotel, the W seeks to bring innovation, style and modern cool to our fine city. The views that the space boast are truly the definition of spectacular.
The W will certainly capitalize on its prime views with its Sky Terrace, and the Destination Bar (above photos; both of which, I will be posted up for the rest of the summer!)
The W will include chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's J&G Steakhouse and will also feature the Bliss Spa.
As the countdown continues, look out for more details on the upcoming W Hotel.
