The 43rd annual Smithsonian Folklife Festival kicks off today on the Mall and will run through Sunday, July 5th.
The event specifically highlights three cultures each year, this year being; Las Americas, Wales and African American. The Folklife Festival presents each culture's native dance, music, and rituals through dozens of daily workshops and events
