A little over a year ago my friend Lauren Leonard debuted her clothing line Leona. Leonard dived right into the designing scene fresh out of college and has quickly gained notoriety throughout the south; including recognition from Daily Candy and Lucky Magazine.
Leona strives to create a playground for southern bells. The Spring 2009 collection seeps with inspiration from Jackie O. and Mediterranean nautical escapism.
