It really escapes me as to how I have managed NOT to post anything on this topic...
As you all know, Aretha Franklin's hat at Barack Obama's Inauguration on January 20th created quite a stir...you know, the whole giant hat with the bow with Swarovski crystals... Well according to Washington Post's Names & Faces that ridiculous hat may be moving in town for good. The Smithsonian Institution has asked Mrs. Franklin to donate the now infamous hat to their collection (along w/Jason Wu's gown that Mrs. O wore).
As Project Beltway said: R-E-S-P-E-C-T the Hat.
