The Corcoran Gallery recently featured an exhibit showcasing famed photographer Richard Avedon, titled Portraits of Power. The exhibit was a spectacular collection of the late greats portraits; everyone from Ted Kennedy to Karl Rove to Barack Obama.
The International Center of Photography in New York gets ready to open a comprehensive look at Richard Avedon's revolutionary fashion photography. Avedon transcended between high art, commercial art, fashion, advertising, and pop culture to create some of the most iconic and artistic fashion photos ever taken. The exhibit will present over 200 works by Avedon, including pieces from Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, The New Yorker.
