This year the Virgin Mobile Festival is FREE; all you have to do is donate $5 to youth homelessness through RE*Generation. (pretty nice deal considering the times)
Check out the line-up; Blink-182, Weezer, The Hold Steady, St. Vincent, Girl Talk, Franz Ferdinand, The National, Wale, The Bravery, Public Enemy among others.
